I thoroughly did not enjoy this film. I felt it was rushed and the story line was very choppy. The characters developed long lasting friendships and fell in love in mere minutes. There was absolutely no character growth or development.
The scenery was not visually pleasing either. This could have been a good movie but the writing was terrible. The acting was bland and did nothing for me. I was excited to see Kit Harrington in a feature film but after seeing it, I am glad he still has his day job on Game of Thrones.
To me this movie felt like a wannabee "Gladiator". I would recommend passing on this film.
