Review of Noah (2013) by Chance E — 07 Dec 2014
Noah was a movie based on a Biblical story and people who are devout Christians hate it. Which with all due respect means the movies probably pretty interesting. Noah takes it's own liberties with the story like Spielberg did with Jurrassic Park or Peter Jackson did with The Hobbit. But Aranofsky made it work. You can't tell it's an Aranofsky film but it's a nice way to ease non Aranofsky fans in to his style of film making. Noah was well acted by everyone Russell Crowe was good . Ray Winstone was really good. Anthony Hopkins was great. A few pacing.
issues. But made up for with Academy Award worthy visuals.
