Review of Nightcrawler (2014) by Chance E — 02 Oct 2015

Nightcrawler was a movie that I had never really heard about it had any real expectations for until it came out. The. I watched it and was completely just blown away. First and foremost Jake Gyllenhaal gives and awesome performance.

This is one of the best Jake Gyllenhaal performances I've have ever seen. It's completely transformative. And it kinda restored my faith in him as an actor. Not that I ever lost it to begin with.

And not only was the acting great the direction and writing were great. This is Dan Gilroy's first movie and I can tell you he isn't going anywhere yet. I wanna see him do more stuff. In the end Nightcrawler is an immersive character study with a solid performance by Jake Gyllenhaal.

And is one of the best movies not only of the year but of the decade.
