Review of No Escape (2015) by Alex A — 13 Jan 2016
If you combine Taken and The Purge, you've got No Escape. I rather enjoyed it:) Nothing was spectacular about it save for the constant rapid pace it set and the feeling of anxiety it gives you. The beginning layout of the story could have been more explicitly told, but I think they were trying to add to the air of confusion and misunderstanding, which they ultimately did.
I didn't take issue with any ethnic "stereotyping"... I could see this happening in many countries, especially those were the government is oppressive. You'll just have to decide for yourself how you feel about it, but I think it's worth your time and moolah;).
