Review of No Escape (2015) by Ken A — 18 Feb 2018
This one had low expectations and it actually over delivered as more of an action-thriller then the drama I thought it was going to be. It takes off and never lets up. Even at 9 mins left it is hitting hard with intense situations for this unexpecting family.
Tough places to deal with extraordinary circumstances like throwing your daughter across buildings to safety, possibly watching your wife be raped, having your daughter point a gun to your head and execute you.
Crazy action and Bronson is a nice tough in the madness that works. Wilson brings some levity in this intense piece that throws you in and only gives you a light reason near the end but it is a supped up Walking Dead episode.
Great stuff if you like intense films like: the Impossible.
