The movies is great. It's no entertaining but I suppose it wasn't ment to be. It shows what is happening in the world. You don't need to be so focused on the rase in the movie. It's not the point.
The point is what can happen at any time (people rebelling) and someone trying to survive that (and do whatever is nesesary to survive).
