Review of New York Stories (1989) by Mattia N — 28 Mar 2010
'New York Stories' offers three unrelated skits about life in New York, with three different approaches. Woody Allen's 'Oedipus Wrecks' was unbelievably funny; Scorsese's 'Life Lessons' was intense and unexpected , and Francis & Sofia Coppola's 'Life without Zoe' worked great as a light intermezzo.
While some people might argue over one story being better than the other, I'd say the film truly embraces New York as having "something for everybody".
