A truly fun, stylish, and brutal early slasher from the golden era that centers around a punk rock new years television broadcast that keeps being interrupted by a caller who kills a new victim each time it becomes the new year in a different time zone.
Featuring gritty death scenes more in line with Maniac than Prom Night and original punk music, New Years Evil is an absolute must for fans of early 80s slashers. Currently, Netflix Instant is pretty much the only way to see it.
