Review of New Year's Evil (1980) by Gus S — 20 May 2008
This horror picture, which steps outside the slasher formula, actually follows the killer as he tries to murder one person every hour as the clock strikes midnight in each time zone across the U.S. However, the killer's plans do not always work out and it was interesting to see a horror movie villain with some slip-ups in his rampage.
Less gory than most Halloween clones of that period.
