Review of Network (1976) by Reece L — 01 May 2015
Making a powerful statement about both the deterioration of broadcast news programing and the increasingly anodyne and torpid passivity of the US electorate underscored and stemming from soulless, faceless, capitalist, corrupt corporate totalitarianism, "Network" is a masterfully written, excellently acted, hilariously self-aware film that works like gangbusters on every level (and is still shockingly relevant today).
