Overall this film is a fantastic depiction of Christmas and we see a lot of bonding between all of the relatives from The Griswald family.
The families get together for Christmas.
The Griswalds all gave fantastic performances and Chevy Chase style of humor reminds me of Will Ferrell.
The Griswald family holds the party, the cousins come from out of town.
There are some financial burdens when Chevy Chase's character doesn't get his Christmas bonus. This is eventually overcome, when his boss feels more "in the Christmas spirit.".
Overall I that this film is a humorous portrayal of a typical Christmas Vacation.
