Not for the prudish. Prostitution or euphemistically calling it sex surrogate makes no difference to the fact that sexual service is delivered in return for money. Losing one's virginity by penetrating a woman is over rated and one should not feel inadequate or unfulfilled in life if one has not partook in it as the film seem to want to assert.

Whether one is an invalid like that John Hawkins or one having fully functional appendages is completely irrelevant.
