Perhaps Robert Altman's magnum opus. I feel this is better than M*A*S*H. It is a look at the changing American South, the real result of Nixon's "Southern Strategy." Nothing is ever as what appears on the surface.
If you go to Nashville, please check out the replica of the Parthenon that is just outside the city.
