Review of Narc (2002) by Guido A — 08 Feb 2009
Pretty good thriller with Jason Patric delivering one of his more convincing post-teen idol perfomances and a powerhouse performance by Ray Liotta, who is truly an underrated actor. Liotta put on as few pounds and grew a beard so his natural good looks are obscured and you can concentrate on his perfomance as a senior Detroit narcotics officer who may know more about his young partner/protege's death than he is willing to tell.
Some of it was shot on location in Detroit and the rest was shot is some seedy industrial suburbs of Toronto.
