Review of Narc (2002) by Lachlan D — 14 Jun 2014
Narc has all the classic cliche's I come to expect in a police procedural, however it puts its own spin on them making this a very original film. In addition it is a gritty, visceral and at times confronting piece of cinema with a real world sense of grimness and no forced tendencies to appeal to society's vulgar taste in sentimentality and contrived pathos.
From a technical stand point it's also a well shot film with great set design, cinematography, camerawork and sound design, all of which reinforce two stellar performances from Jason Patrick and Ray Liotta.
