Review of Mulberry Street (2006) by Josh W — 14 May 2008
Creature flick played relentlessly straight. As horror it is not particularly scary, but as a look into the forgotten tenements and dive-bars of a disappearing Manhattan, it is surprisingly biting social commentary.
Yuppies fleeing from the rat-zombies pretty much sum up the movies message when a woman screeches, "Do you have the keys to the Jag?".
