Review of Mulberry Street (2006) by Eric R — 24 Jul 2010
A zombie film with a twist in that the virus spreads from rats, causing people to turn into flesh eating zombie rat creatures. Its pretty generic but the direction is pretty damn strong. Stylistically its very similar to 28 days later, in that it uses a lot of handheld to up the tension and chaotic nature of the situation.
The shot compositions and visual style is definitely the strongest part of the film. Worth a watch for any fans of the genre.
