Review of Mulberry Street (2006) by Brandon E — 25 Feb 2009
This movie is touted as a zombie movie and it isn't in the least. I do have to applaud the effort of this movie and they do take the horror genre in a fun direction. I am a zombie movie connoisseur and that's why I bought this film.
I am not sure why but these days, any film that has ravenous people who are turned into monsters is called a zombie film. Whether it's the 28 Days Later franchise or this movie, don't go in expecting a zombie film if you are a fan like me.
Neither of the previously mentioned films are zombie movies but along with 28 Days, Mulberry Street is a fun horror romp that is original and enjoyable.
