Review of Mulberry Street (2006) by Ryan J — 14 Sep 2010
And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street. I don't think Dr. Seuss quite had this in mind. 'Mulberry Street' is part of After Dark Horrerfest 2007's "8 Films To Die For". This festival gives 8 independent films a chance to be distributed and viewed by potential fans that may not have had a chance to see them otherwise.
SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! This movie can easily be summed up with 2 words; Rat Zombies. In this film, these huge rats in New York begin biting people and the victims slowly become rat like zombies that run amuck.
The cinematography is very rough and helps bring the realism and relativeness to the viewer and helps make them think this shit is going down. This movie is a cross between '28 Days Later' and 'Quarantine' with a small reference to Master Splinter, leader of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Enjoy.
