Review of Mother of George (2013) by Peter F — 21 Sep 2013
While slower than it needed to be at times, it's a pretty gorgeous film about a relationship and what it could take, through the lens of immigration and gender roles, though neither ever becomes an explicit agenda of the movie's exploration.
Amazing characters, moving moments, and shot with a simultaneously gorgeous and claustrophobic aesthetic.
