If you are Ridley Scott's son, don't make movies like he did. This should be common sense. I know it might be hereditary, but almost anyone but Luke Scott could call the twist in this movie five minutes in, not the least of which because of Kate Mara's robotic acting.

I really wanted to like this film because it is supposed to be a way for a lot of these b-list actors to get out of their casting quagmires. Unfortunately, Rose Leslie, Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, and Michelle Yeoh could not overcome the bad dialogue or the shadows cast by the iconic "Blade Runner" or the recent "Ex Machina".

And the completely predictable ending only sealed "Morgan" away in a maximum-security, b-movie vault. What's more frustrating is that there is a genuinely tense Turing test scene between Paul Giamatti and Anya Taylor-Joy that is actually better than the opening scene of "Blade Runner".

Then, Luke Scott pisses the movie down his leg when he slouches over to Mara and films some of the worst examples of choppy, fast editing to give the illusion of a hand-to-hand action sequence. Finally, I would suggest you stop watching the film about 20 minutes before it ends, just so you aren't confused about why the film is even titled "Morgan".
