Review of Moonraker (1979) by Jose M — 07 Feb 2014

Possibly the most hilarious Star Wars spoof/rip-off ever. I was bored and distracted during the first hour, but James Bond was getting warmed up. The villain is Drax and the sexy female sidekick is Holly Goodhead.

Also in the film is Richard Kiel or better known as the Jaws, I was happy to see him. I don't even know how to describe the plot, but the main event involves James Bond in space with lasers and explosions.

I giggled at the silliness, but was enthralled nonetheless. Moonraker came in at the budget over 30 million dollars. Luckily, they managed to replenish at the box office.
