Not as much a movie as a shared vacation. Tati manages a voyeuristic feel (we are on vacation as well), and it adds to the enjoyment. The opening statement is well taken. I love to watch this film as it has the power to actually change my mood for the better.
Very possibly my favorite film for reasons other than its inherent virtues.
