I wanted to see this movie because I love Fred Astaire and I wanted to hear that first performance of White Christmas.
What I got was an offensive blackface performance and a scheming, manipulative, old, ugly, short Bing Crosby screwing over his "friend" the lovely, charming, old Fred Astaire. White Christmas rightly overshadows this dreck.
