There have been complaints about Mira Sorvino's supporting actress Oscar for this film, but her work here is fantastic. It's actually not easy to play 'ditzy' and then make the shift to vulnerable without falling into cliche's.
Sorvino avoids every one of them. A very funny and touching little film.
