Review of Midnight Special (2016) by Benjamin H — 11 Apr 2016

For me this one was a yawn-fest, a bunch of adults are trying to get a boy to a field in the middle of nowhere, on a random date for no apparent reason - except that he is 'special'. Oh yeah, and the US government wants to stop him getting there.

The plot unfolds too slowly, and the 'explanations' are weak, so despite a decent cast I was largely unconvinced - and despite picking up a little, the ending was best part. It wasn't special and nothing happened at midnight.
