I watched it for the flying. My six sisters watched it for Harry Connick Jr.'s Danny Boy bit. But Holy Cow, it's just so darn good. I wonder why they still think 12 o Clock High is better? This puts you in the cockpit, behind the 50 cals and right there on the airfield.

I get chills every time I watch the take off sequence with George Fenton's magnificent score carrying it off into flight. It's like watching ballet.
