Review of Megan Is Missing (2011) by Ethan B — 26 Jul 2012
Pretty boring, generic "based-on-true-events" plot with a solid 5 minutes of traumatizing gore. For me to say that something scarred me is pretty rare, but that shock scene was ridiculous and unexpected. I guess the message the film was trying to get across was honest and sincere, but the portrayal of two young teens was fake and cast them in a terrible light. Show this to your children before letting them on the internet and they'll never talk to strangers online.
Heads up: the only part you should show them starts at 1:05, but don't blame me if your kids have nightmares for weeks.
