Review of Megan Is Missing (2011) by Toshian F — 20 Sep 2013
This omnipresent internet child predators bullshit (while mostly just a bunch of media-fueled hysteria without any real basis in fact) makes a reasonable premise for a film. However statistically unlikely (which it is very much so), it still could potentially happen, which makes this film somewhat scarier than most "horror" films out there.
Its scary in the same way an urban legend is scary. However, if the director knew more about the internet, he would know about a thing called an "Internet Protocol Address.".
