Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Steven P — 02 May 2008
I hear that this movie is much better on a second viewing, but I was very displeased with my first viewing. I do consider myself a fan of Altman, but I do not consider myself a fan of the Western genre.
In fact, I would go as far as to say I hate the Western genre. To me, McCabe and Mrs. Miller just falls into the same cesspool of painfully long Westerns, except with better cinematography.
