McCabe & Mrs Miller is a beautiful picture. I really felt a sense of closeness with the folks who live and build the town Presbyterian Church. Warren Beatty plays as McCabe and I love his persona, he talks to himself when he feels frustrated, is nervous, anxious, he is up against a prostitute named Mrs Miller(Julie Chirstie) who wants in on the partnership building a brothel.
Altman makes an anti-western and it is one of the best I have ever seen.
