Review of Marty (1955) by Ana B — 16 Sep 2010
A very simple story, with a smart script. full of good lines and moving moments. Borgnine's performance was simply amazing, playing a character that anyone can identify with. The rest of the cast was well selected and did a very good job.
A nice drama/comedy that maybe today it's not very famous, but it doesn't mean that it ain't a good film, because actually it is. The "incomplete" ending was good, because Marty decided to do what he wanted for the woman he loved, without taking seriously other's opinion, a very good scene at the end, when he faced his friend Angie.
