Review of Marty (1955) by Cameron J — 03 Aug 2014
This is a nice, sweet movie, although it feels rather dated now. The couple is described as "Middle aged" - he's 34 and she's 29. People yell at Marty because he is not yet married, and say things like "You should be ashamed of yourself!" Also, it sometimes feel more like a play than it does a movie.
However, it's a fine movie if you remember it is from another time, and it's nice to see this sweet love story.
