Review of Mandy (2018) by Jeff A — 12 Feb 2018

I found parts of this movie hard to watch, and others that made me want to stand and cheer. It's a movie that challenges you and sticks with you long after it's done. Visually striking and driven by a fantastic Johan Johansson score, the film is in turns funny, thrilling, horrifying and unsettling. Nicolas Cage's performance is top notch.

I wouldn't recommend this film to everyone, but for those that enjoy dark, violent, crazy midnight movies I don't think you'll find better.
