This genre is normally not my thing, but even I can recognize a true masterpiece of cinema when I see it. A thrill from beginning to end. You'll find yourself lost in this incandescent, bizarre, haunting, and riveting universe.
Nic Cage delivers a surprisingly touching performance, against the horrific and untamed tapestry of the world around him. And yes, with just the right pinch of humor and camp.
