Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by W W — 22 Mar 2017

This movie is a snooze fest. Casey Affleck is a one trick pony...with one emotion...dead pan. I have no idea why the critics were raving about this or why Casey won an award for it. He was dull and unemotional through even the most poignant moments in the film where raw emotion would have been inevitable.

The young man in the movie did a better job acting out his character. The ending was probably true to how things would have gone in real life, but who wants real life in a movie. I am shocked at the great ratings.

..I really am, I just don't get it, it was like I was watching another movie than they saw.
