Written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan which opens with Lee Chandler (Casey Affleck) bonding with his 12 year old nephew Patrick, while he is on his broher's Joe Chandler (Kyle Chandler) boat, We're then between flashes know more about Lee's life as the movie is progressing in which he ends up looking after Patrick in unsurprising circumstances in which his brother Joe dies in a cardiac arrest with nothing but a will, forcing his younger brother to look after his only son.
Winner of 2 Oscars for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Casey Affleck and for Best Original Screenplay for Kenneth Lonergan out of 6 nominations.
