Malignant is like the 80s/90s style of slasher films. Some of the character choices/acting is questionable in compared to the rest of the movie. The story overall is pretty good - the lore and the overall plot unfolding was nicely done.
A lot of blood/gore in the movie , so beware of that. The movie is not groundbreaking for the genre but it is a nice addition to a large list of slasher type of films.
