I hate to say it, but it could have been directed better. Visually stunning but the script missed the mark. Fassbender has more range than he showed, but he still gave a great performance. Cotillard, the same.
Loved "out damn spot"; totally different portrayal than I've ever seen. Interesting and enjoyable, but it felt like something was missing.
