William Shakespeare's famous tragedy is brought to the screen on a large scale. Full of his intricate and unique style of writing, this play focuses on Macbeth, a Scottish warrior who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that he will become King of Scotland.

Ambition and his wife's insistence led him to murder his king and takes the throne for himself. Absolutely mesmerizing and well acted, it does not disappoint. Treason, violence and blood everywhere! I should probably read the book, as it seems very faithful.
