Had I known that the dialogue would be true to the original Shakespeare prose I would not have bothered trying to watch the movie. Twenty minutes in and I knew I was wasting my time. I hated reading Shakespeare in high school because I found Shakespearean prose to be completely incomprehensible.
But since then I have thoroughly enjoyed his writings that were made into movies. That is when they spoke plain, modern day English.
