Review of The Angelic Conversation (1987) by Y'ng Y — 29 Jun 2009
Shot on 8mm and blown up to 35mm, it achieves a grainy low-res otherworldly feel, coupled with the time-stretched rhythm, it is a gentle freeform exploration of the notion of homoerotic romance. Soundtrack by Coil accentuates the effect of the film.
