How does revenge bring about any justice? Who is more criminal, the insane or the sane who choose to be criminal? This movie poses a lot of questions that were way ahaed of its time. It is a prograssive look at mental illness as well as a progressive effort within the film medium in terms of story structure, cinematography, and sound.
