Review of M (1931) by Andrew N — 26 Jan 2009
Though this film would be vastly influential for its influence on more or less any film about a serial killer, I found the suspense portion of the film to be completely dwarfed by the sheer genius of the trial portion, leading up to the entire monologue at the end which completely turned the whole film on its head.
I wish that 'films these days' still did that.
