Review of M (1931) by Nelson P — 14 Mar 2010
M is a monumental film and seriously should be watched by all. For a film like this to be made in 1931 is just shocking. Even if the film was released today it would still be nothing like we have seen before.
Peter Lorre played such a pitiful child killer that you couldn't have but some sympathy for. M is the starting ground for the serial killer genre, you cant help but notice the mass amounts of influence this has had on movies for the past 70 years.
