Review of Lust for Life (1956) by Danny C — 01 Mar 2008
Kirk Douglas is enjoyable because he's brilliant and laughable. Wanna know why the seconde description? Watch the scene with him and Anthony Quinn, who plays Paul Gaugin(?) on their argument about painting, then the scene where he's about to cut his ear off.
Still, I love this film.
