Vincente Minnelli's visually masterful telling of the story of impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh boasts of fine performances by Kirk Douglas, Anthony Quinn and the rest of the cast. Douglas captures Van Gogh wonderfully with equal parts humor and sadness.
A must-watch film. On Blu-Ray.
