As a lifelong fan of Brian Wilson's music I thought this was a beautifully conceived and very well executed way of telling some key parts of his story. The looming presence of Murray Wilson, the cynical antics of Eugene Landy and Mike Love's negative impact (which continue to this day) were captured convincingly.
One question mark over Elizabeth Banks' Melinda Ledbetter: was she really that saintly? Either way a wonderful film.
