Since listening to Barenaked Ladies' sing "I'm lyin' in bed / just like Brian Wilson did" ('Brian Wilson') on their debut 'Gordon' over a decade ago, the circle is now complete.
I finally 'get' the reference to Dr. Landy, but more importantly, I 'get' Brian Wilson, as much as one Can 'get' him, thru the fascinating dual lens of Paul Dano & John Cusack's dual bio-pic portrayal of equally powerful fragility.
Couldn't avert my gaze. The feels.
