Review of Lord of the Flies (1963) by Ramona P — 09 Nov 2008

This version gets a few points by being quite true to the book, though that's not a rule for a good adaptation. The weakness of the movie is the actors, I understand that they are only children and non-professional actors but what do I care? I want good performances to make the movie believeble.

BUT this version is better than the one from the '90s, it has better cinematography, the lacking of a score was a plus and the "dancing around the fire" scene was great.
